Reinforced Laminated Sheets

EMG graphite laminate products include pure graphite laminated sheets and laminated graphite sheets reinforced with various inserts such as stainless steel, stainless steel tanged (perforated) sheet, or wire screen mesh. Excellent sealing material for gaskets.


These laminates have excellent mechanical strength and handleability, exhibit low creep relaxation, stable compressibility, and recovery characteristics. They are widely used to provide thin cross-section gaskets and are used for many high pressure industrial applications.

Applications

  • Graphite Foil is an excellent graphite gasket sheet material, used in the automotive, petroleum and chemical, paper, and nuclear industries.
  • Acts as a thermal barrier at high temperatures to provide outstanding reflectivity.
  • Graphite Foil is used to make bipolar graphite plates in the fuel cell industry.
  • Excellent as Graphite Foil seals for sealing high temperature valves, shafts, and flanges.
  • Excellent linings and protective layer for vessels containing hot or corrosive fluids.
